摘要:In this work we have developed a series of highly emissive europium(III) and terbium(III) complexes tethered to either folic acid (FA) or methotrexate (MTX), with the aim of developing visual probes that enable the imaging of folate receptors in cancer cells. The synthesis, photophysical properties and cellular behaviour are reported for four new lanthanide Ln(III) complexes, where either FA or MTX are tethered to 1,4,7-tris(carbonylmethyl)-10-(4′-quinolineacetic acid, (7′-acetamido)-1′,2′-dihydro-2′-oxo)-1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane Ln(III) complex, and Ln(III) = Eu(III) or Tb(III); herein referred to as Eu-FA, Eu-MTX, Tb-FA or Tb-MTX. All four complexes were found to be sensitive to the presence of the folate receptor in a range of cell lines. The MTX conjugates showed different cellular specificity in an oral adenosquamous carcinoma cell line (CAL-27) compared with the analogous FA conjugates. This suggests that it is viable to explore differences in folate receptors using folate vs. anti-folate probes, with labels that have different emissive properties (e.g. Eu-FA vs. Tb-MTX). The MTX complexes were found to be the most cytotoxic, with Eu-MTX showing greater cytotoxicity than free MTX or the isostructural Tb-MTX. This suggested that there could be a synergistic effect on toxicity for the Eu(III) chelate and the MTX components of the complex.Four highly emissive lanthanide complexes which combine a carbostyril antenna coupled to a cyclen chelate tethered to either folic acid or methotrexate were synthesised and characterised. 4、Structural-electromagnetic bidirectional coupling analysis of space large film reflector antenna

摘要:As used for energy transmission, a space large film reflector antenna (SLFRA) is characterized by large size and enduring high power density. The structural flexibility and the microwave radiation pressure (MRP) will lead to the phenomenon of structural-electromagnetic bidirectional coupling (SEBC). In this paper, the SEBC model of SLFRA is presented, then the deformation induced by the MRP and the corresponding far field pattern deterioration are simulated. Results show that, the direction of the MRP is identical to the normal of the reflector surface, and the magnitude is proportional to the power density and the square of cosine incident angle. For a typical cosine function distributed electric field, the MRP is a square of cosine distributed across the diameter. The maximum deflections of SLFRA linearly increase with the increasing microwave power densities and the square of the reflector diameters, and vary inversely with the film thicknesses. When the reflector diameter becomes 100 m large and the microwave power density exceeds 10 2  W/cm 2 , the gain loss of the 6.3 μm-thick reflector goes beyond 0.75 dB. When the MRP-induced deflection degrades the reflector performance, the SEBC should be taken into account.

5、The corona bond response to normal stress distribution during the process of rotary friction welding

摘要:Continuous drive rotary friction welding was conducted on SUS304 stainless steel rods in diameter of ϕ25 mm under different welding pressures, rotation speeds, and friction time. At the friction interface, the normal stress distributions were measured, and the corona bond (i.e., plasticized metal) was characterized. The results show that, under a constant welding pressure, the normal stress initiates at the periphery of the sample interface, leaving the inner area that seems un-contacted at the very beginning of the friction process. Thereafter, the normal stress extends inside along the radial direction, which leads to its distribution presenting like a 「U」 shape. The normal stress at the periphery increases much faster than it at the inner area, resulting in the distribution presenting like a 「V」 shape. Then, the stress in the center continuously increases and the distribution gradually changes into 「M」 shape. The stress is lastly homogenously distributed. Evolution of the normal stress distribution determines the evolution of the corona bond. At the same time, evolution of the corona bond reacts on the distribution of normal stress. In addition, similar phenomena have been observed under different welding parameters.

10、Five-Year Incidence and Predictors for Pterygium in a Rural Community in China 2015

摘要:1 online resource Abstract : Purpose: To determine the 5-year cumulative incidence of pterygium and its associated predictors in the Bai Chinese population in a rural community. Methods: This population-based study included 2133 subjects aged 50 years or older in 2010 and was repeated in 2015 with 1520 subjects (71.3%) participating in the follow-up examination. Participants with pterygium in either eye in 2010 were excluded from the analysis related to incidence. Anterior segment examination was performed without pupil dilation using a slit lamp, and pterygium was defined as a raised fleshy triangular fibrovascular tissue growth of the conjunctiva encroaching onto the clear cornea. Results: The 5-year cumulative incidence of pterygium was 6.8% [95% confidence interval (CI), 5.2-8.4] and was significantly higher in women compared with men (8.8% vs. 3.8%; P = 0.003). The age-specific incidence was 7.7%, 6.5%, and 5.6% in those aged 50-59, 60-69, 70 years, or older at the baseline, respectively. Outdoor occupation was the only predictor, which remained to be significantly associated with a higher incidence of pterygium in multivariate analysis (odds ratio = 2.52, 95% CI, 1.27-4.95). The predictive effect of outdoor occupation on incident pterygium was moderate with an area under the curve in the receiver operating characteristic analysis of 0.59 (95% CI, 0.53-0.66). Conclusions: The incidence of pterygium in this rural cohort was higher compared to a previous report in Chinese in urban areas. The findings are important for health policy makers to project future burden of pterygium and make proper decisions on health resource allocation.
