    Pamela Kyle Crossley

    Born in 1955, she is a professor of history at Dartmouth College in the United States. Her long-term research focuses on Qing history, Central Asian history, comparative history, and global history, with an emphasis on exploring the roots of modern identity, particularly the relationship between ethnic identity and imperial governance structures in the early modern period. She has received a Guggenheim Fellowship and won the 2001 Levenson Prize from the Association for Asian Studies for her book The Transparent Mirror. Her major works include Orphan Warriors: Three Manchu Generations and the End of the Qing World (1991), The Transparent Mirror, and What is Global History? (2008).

    He holds a bachelor's and master's degree in Ethnology from National Chengchi University, and a master's and PhD in Central Eurasian Studies from Indiana University, Bloomington. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of History at National Chung Cheng University. His research focuses on the Eurasian world history from the Mongol era onward and the history of relations between Inner Asia and China, with an emphasis on empire, ethnicity, migration, and legal history. In recent years, in addition to academic research, he has actively promoted knowledge of Mongolian and Inner Asian history through online media. He is the author of From Marco Polo to Macartney (Ba Qi Culture, 2020).

    She holds a master's degree in World History from the Department of History at National Chengchi University. Her translations include Ancient China and the Yue: Perceptions and Identities on the Southern Frontier, c. 400 BCE–50 CE, The Horse, the Wheel, and Language: How Bronze-Age Riders from the Eurasian Steppes Shaped the Modern World, and Mulan and the Qilin: Turkic and Iranian Elements in Medieval China.

      1955年生,現任美國達特茅斯學院(Dartmouth College)歷史學教授,她長期研究清史、中亞史、比較歷史和全球史,著重於探討現代認同的根源,特別是民族認同與現代早期時帝國統治結構的關連性。曾獲古根漢學者獎,並以《半透明鏡》榮獲2001年美國亞洲研究協會列文森獎。主要著作有《孤軍:滿洲三代家族與清世界的滅亡》(Orphan Warriors,1991)、《半透明鏡》與《什麼是全球史?》(What is Global History?,2008)。

      國立政治大學民族學系學士、碩士,美國印第安納大學中央歐亞學系碩士、博士。現任國立中正大學歷史學系助理教授。研究方向為蒙古時代以降的歐亞世界史及內亞與中國關係史,著重於帝國、族群、移民與法制史領域。近年來除了從事學術研究外,也透過網路媒體,積極推廣蒙古及內亞的相關歷史知識。著有《從馬可波羅到馬戛爾尼》(八旗文化,2020)。
