Current book project is a history of leisure and changing leisure spaces in Beijing since 1949. It builds on two strands in my research career: history and cultural studies. This project is supported by a grant from the Marsden Fund of the Royal Society of New Zealand. I continue to write on Chinese film history, particularly the period from 1949 until the 1980s.
我当前的著作项目是研究1949年以来北京的休闲史以及休闲空间的变迁，该项目建立在我研究生涯的两大研究方向之上：历史学与文化研究，获新西兰皇家学会马斯登基金资助。我仍在持续撰写中国电影史相关内容，尤其关注1949年至20世纪80年代的阶段。
