Takatsu Takashi, born in 1958, withdrew from the doctoral program in Chinese Language and Literature at the Graduate School of Letters, Kyoto University in 1988. From 1985 to 1987, he studied at Nanjing University as an advanced visiting scholar, researching宋代 literature under the guidance of Professor Cheng Qianfan. He is currently a professor in the Faculty of Law and Literature at Kagoshima University in Japan, focusing on Chinese literature of the Song Dynasty, Chinese ancient book bibliography, and Qing Dynasty textual criticism. He has authored several monographs.

高津孝（Takatsu Takashi）,1958年生，1988年日本京都大学文学研究科中国语中国文学系博士课程肄业，曾于1985年至1987年间作为高级进修生留学南京大学，在程千帆教授指导下研究宋代文学。现为日本鹿儿岛大学法文部教授，主要致力于中国宋代文学、中国古籍版本学、清朝考证学等方面研究。著有多种专著。
