    On-cho Ng, born in Hong Kong, China, holds a Ph.D. from the University of Hawaii and is a professor of history at the University of Pennsylvania. His main research interests include the intellectual history of late imperial China and the social significance of Confucianism during the Ming and Qing dynasties. His representative works include Cheng-Zhu Confucianism in the Early Qing: Li Guangdi and Qing Learning and Mirroring the Past: The Writing and Use of History in Imperial China. Q. Edward Wang, originally from Suzhou and born in Shanghai, previously served as a professor in the Department of History at East China Normal University and at Rowan University in New Jersey, USA. He is currently a council member and secretary-general of the International Commission for the History and Theory of Historiography, a Changjiang Distinguished Professor in the Department of History at Peking University, a visiting professor at the University of Pennsylvania, and a visiting researcher at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. His main research interests include comparative historiography between China and the West, historical theory and historiography, and Chinese intellectual and cultural history.

    王晴佳(Q. Edward Wang),祖籍苏州,生于上海,曾任华东师范大学,美国新泽西州罗文大学历史系教授。现为国际史学史、史学理论委员会理事兼秘书长,北京大学历史系长江讲座教授,宾夕法尼亚大学客座教授和普林斯顿高等研究院访问研究员。主要研究兴趣为中外比较史学、史学理论与史学史和中国思想文化史。
