本书为《马丁文集》卷，收录了马丁自20世纪80年代至今发表的14篇关于系统功能理论的论文。马丁师从系统功能语法创始人韩礼德先生，继承并发展了韩礼德系统功能思想，探索了前人没有探索或探索得不够深入的语言学问题，提出了一些新的见解。本卷涉及的主要内容有：系统类型学和拓扑学、英语主位的组篇功能、成分结构和韵律结构、系统语言学的意义特征、系统功能视角下的语类、意识形态和互文性、实现化和实例化等。作者简介
